Fishkill Ridge Conservation Area Video Diaries

Real tough hike today. 5 miles, 3 1/2 hours, 1,700 foot vertical rise. This sucker was steep, buggy, and, well that's all I am gonna say. The video diaries will give the you the dirty details. I would NOT recommend this hike if you are bringing kids. Actually I am not sure I would recommend this hike at all, because it is VERY strenuous and I didn't feel the views on tops were worth all the effort (and dangers) in getting there. One thing for sure, it was not a boring hike. Well enough yapping about it, check out the vid to see what I mean. I took about 16 minutes of footage so I had to break it into two sections. 1. Dozer Hill is called that because back in '63 Chippy Carlton & his brother went up there with farm implements to clear paths for their chicken cult. They never returned and only one human skull was found. All other body parts, except for a piece of ear, have never been discovered since.

Another incident happened about 15 years later on Old Snake Hill in Westchester. Mikey Mullin & his three friends tried to scale that hill. Only three returned. Not MIkey.

    STAY OUT OF THESE PLACES!

  3. Since I am French, all the videos are dubbed in English. My translation company did a poor job though and I am looking for a new one.

    Bon Jour,
