Lime Rock Park Grand-Am Memorial Day Classic

Now that was a memorial Memorial Day! First time visit to Lime Rock Park in Lime Rock, CT.
What a great experience. This was my first auto racing event, and it will definitely not be my last. Lime Rock Park is very fan friendly. Complete access to the cars and drivers, plus you can basically sit wherever you want to view the race. The only gripes I had were that the PA system is useless and the scoreboard is so outdated and located in a horrible location where it can barely be seen. Bottom line is that it's very hard to know who is leading the race unless you check online from your smartphone. It was a great day, and great weather (I have the sun burn to prove it).
