Yesterday was the PERFECT fall day in Connecticut to go hiking. The destination was Pine Knob Loop Trail in Sharon, CT. The trail head was off Route 7 about 20 mins north of Kent, CT. This moderate 2.6 mile loop hike had some decent elevation climbs, roaring brooks, and two spectacular viewing spots that looked down on the Housatonic Valley. Total hike time was about an hour and 45 minutes with a few quick breaks along the way. Definitely a hike I would recommend. Enjoy the slide show below.
